These individuals will have product ownership from concept to deployment including competitive analysis, developing feature definitions, market requirements documents, interfacing with engineering and sales force in areas of languages, tools, core database, legacy integration, internet and related products, and customer presentations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

BSCS or related degree required -- MBA a plus. Must be technically oriented plus business savvy. 5-8 years of Product Management experience in a database or object languages/tools environment.

Must be able to develop persuasive business cases for guiding Versant's product development, investment and market strategies.
